Next Moves Lab

Refund Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Short version: if you want your money back, you get your money back. Read on only if you want the details.

The promise

30 days, no questions. If you are unhappy with Next Moves Lab for any reason within 30 days of a charge, email us and we refund it. We will not ask you to justify it, we will not offer you a discount to stay, and we will not route you through a chat bot.

After 30 days, email us anyway. If something went wrong on our end, or you forgot you were subscribed and never used it, we would rather refund you than keep money you did not mean to spend.

How to ask

Two ways, whichever you prefer:

  • Email team@nextmoveslab.com with the address on your account. A human reads it, usually the founder, usually the same day.
  • Go to paddle.net and look up your order using the email address you paid with. You can request the refund there directly.

Paddle is our payment provider and the merchant of record, which means Paddle is the legal seller and handles the money. Refunds go back to your original payment method and typically arrive within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

If a charge on your statement says PADDLE.NET and you do not recognise it, that is us. Email and we will sort it out.

Please come to us before contacting your bank. A chargeback takes weeks, costs everyone more, and we would have just refunded you.

Your statutory rights (EU, EEA, UK)

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason.

Because Next Moves Lab is a digital service that starts working immediately, you are asked at checkout to confirm that you want access to begin right away and that you understand the refund window is 30 days from the order date.

This does not reduce what we offer you. Our 30-day policy is more generous than the 14-day statutory minimum and applies regardless of where you live. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under consumer law in your country. Where the law, or Paddle's own buyer terms, give you more protection than this policy, the greater protection applies.

Cancelling versus refunding

These are different things.

Cancelling stops future charges. It is one click inside the app, no email needed. Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing is deleted when you cancel.

Refunding returns money already charged. That is what this policy covers.

You can do either, or both.

What we do not refund

  • Charges older than 30 days, unless something went wrong on our end or the account was clearly unused. Ask anyway.
  • Accounts closed for breaching the Terms of Service.

That is the whole list.

Renewals

We email you before every renewal charge. If one slips past you anyway, tell us and we will refund it. A subscription you forgot about is not a sale we want.

Beta testers

The product is in beta and it is paid. If a rough edge makes it not worth the money, that is exactly what the 30 days are for: ask, and you get it back.

People who tested before we started charging still have free access, so there is nothing for them to refund.

Price changes

If we raise the price, you get at least 30 days' notice and your current period is never repriced mid-term.

We do not run sales, and we do not offer a lower rate to keep somebody who is leaving. The one exception is protective rather than promotional: if you subscribed during the beta, the rate you joined at stays yours, and a later price rise does not touch it.
